to be fair, they *were* brewing beer

Anheuser Busch, a giant global brewer, has demanded that a tiny London microbrewery changes its name for fear people will confuse Belleville Brewery with their Belle-Vue fruit flavoured beer.

Via ChinChinJobs.

Nobody tell them about this place. Or this place across town, that also apparently puts out fruit flavoured beer.

  1. It’s just like Cerveceria Costa Rica the company that owns Magic Hat as they go after every microbrewery that uses 9 or anything that looks like it.

  2. The only good thing about InBev is, they will screw stuff up so much, it will make craft beer and micro’s that much more appealing.

  3. Red Bull came after Bull Falls Brewery in Wausau, Wisconsin. I think Bull Falls can’t use a bovine or the colors red, blue, and silver on their packaging.

    • Red Bull also went after Redwell brewing in Norwich England because heaven forbid you name your brewery after the street its located on…
